Dan Mumm is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, autodidact and polymath.  

A composer first, Dan Mumm has been studying music and composition his entire life.  He has composed several thousand pieces of music throughout his career in a wide variety of styles.  Using his deep knowledge of Classical composition, he has developed a highly unique approach to writing music in modern styles.

As a child, he began studying music at the age of 4, learning to play the piano and quickly moving on to the guitar at the age of 12. His relentless dedication to his craft soon led him to master a number of other instruments, including the bass guitar, drums, and violin.

But it was his passion for the guitar that truly set him apart. A virtuoso of the instrument, Dan’s unique approach to composition and his deep knowledge of classical music has allowed him to create his highly distinctive sound.

In addition to his virtuosity on the guitar, he’s also an expert in audio recording, mixing, and production, and has used these skills to create his unique and groundbreaking solo albums. As an author and video producer, he created his revolutionary and highly specialized instructional guitar programs that have helped tens of thousands of guitarists reach their potential and have established him as a leading authority on the instrument to those in the know.

Dan has also performed around the world and made appearances at international trade shows such as Music China in Shanghai, NAMM in Anaheim, CA and the Frankfurt MusikMesse in Frankfurt, Germany.
